Skoda’s latest launch in India has been the updated Kushaq, and deliveries are already underway. But the Czech carmaker has no plans to slow down. Over the coming months, Skoda is preparing several new launches and updates for the Indian market, covering everything from compact SUVs and premium sedans to electric vehicles and performance-focused models. Here’s a detailed look at the upcoming Skoda cars expected in India.
Kylaq Sportline (8AT)

The Kylaq has emerged as Skoda’s strongest-selling model in India, crossing the 50,000-unit sales milestone in just over a year. Its strong value proposition, compact dimensions and strategic positioning in the highly competitive sub-4-metre SUV segment have made it a major success for the brand. Now, Skoda is preparing to expand the lineup with a sportier version called the Kylaq Sportline.
The new variant is expected to feature a more aggressive appearance with cosmetic upgrades and sportier detailing. Under the hood, however, it will continue with the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 113 hp and 178 Nm.

The biggest expected update could come in the gearbox department. Reports suggest that the current 6-speed torque converter automatic could be replaced by a new 8-speed automatic transmission, potentially offering smoother shifts and improved driving comfort.
Slavia Facelift

Skoda is also preparing to update its premium sedan, the Slavia. The facelifted version has already been spotted testing multiple times, indicating meaningful design and feature enhancements. The refreshed sedan is expected to receive a revised front fascia, updated alloy wheel designs and subtle styling tweaks at the rear. Inside, Skoda could introduce new cabin colour themes and upgrade the technology package.

Expected additions include a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a bigger digital instrument cluster, and possibly even a rear-seat massage function, similar to upgrades introduced on the new Kushaq. Engine options are expected to remain unchanged.
The 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol could continue with a 6-speed manual and potentially receive the new 8-speed automatic, while the 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol is expected to remain paired with the DSG automatic transmission.
Skoda Epiq

Skoda recently showcased the Epiq globally and the compact electric SUV is expected to eventually make its way to India. If launched here, it could become Skoda’s most affordable electric vehicle in the country. Built on the MEB+ electric platform, the Epiq will focus on practicality, efficiency and urban usability.
Internationally, the SUV has been revealed with two battery options — 38.5 kWh (LFP) and 55 kWh (NMC). The larger battery version claims a driving range of up to 440 km on a full charge. Once launched in India, the Epiq is expected to rival electric SUVs such as the Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric and Maruti eVitara.
Octavia RS

Skoda’s decision to bring the Octavia RS to India received an overwhelming response, with the first batch of 100 units selling out rapidly. Encouraged by this success, the company is reportedly planning another allocation for the Indian market.
The upcoming batch is expected to retain the same aggressive styling but could receive additional premium equipment. Expected features include a 13-inch infotainment screen, 12-speaker Canton audio system, 10.25-inch digital instrument display, and a gesture-controlled powered tailgate.
Powering the Octavia RS will continue to be a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine generating 265 hp and 370 Nm, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 6.4 seconds. Prices may increase slightly compared to the previous batch.
Kodiaq RS

Skoda is also expected to introduce the performance-oriented Kodiaq RS in India. Compared to the standard SUV, the RS version gets a more athletic appearance with blacked-out styling elements, revised bumpers and exclusive exterior detailing. Under the hood will be a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 265 hp and 370 Nm. This setup is expected to deliver significantly stronger performance while maintaining the practicality of a premium three-row SUV.

Kodiaq And Superb Diesel
Skoda may also revive diesel offerings in India through limited CBU imports. The two products expected to lead this comeback are the Superb Diesel and Kodiaq Diesel. Both models are expected to use a 2.0-litre TDI turbocharged diesel engine with AWD capability. On the Kodiaq, output is expected to stand at 190 hp and 360 Nm, while the Superb could generate 190 hp and 400 Nm. These launches are likely to cater to enthusiasts and long-distance buyers looking for strong torque and premium diesel performance.
Skoda’s upcoming India strategy appears broader than ever. The company is strengthening its core ICE lineup, expanding into affordable EVs, bringing performance-focused RS models and even reviving diesel options.
Among all the upcoming launches, the Kylaq Sportline, Slavia Facelift, and Epiq EV could emerge as the most closely watched models in the Indian market.
