Tata Tiago Facelift: Bigger Screens, Premium Cabin And Smarter Features
Ahead of its official launch, Tata Motors has revealed the interior of the 2026 Tata Tiago Facelift, and the update brings one of the biggest cabin transformations seen on the hatchback so far. Instead of making minor cosmetic changes, Tata appears to have redesigned large portions of the interior to create a more modern and technology-focused experience.
Looking at the newly revealed cabin images, the first thing that stands out is the completely revised dashboard layout. The outgoing Tiago carried a simpler and more conventional dashboard design, but the new model adopts a cleaner and more premium approach. The overall architecture now looks more horizontal and visually wider, helping the cabin feel more spacious.

The biggest highlight inside the updated Tiago is the new dual-screen layout. Tata has separated the infotainment and driver display into two distinct floating screens placed on top of the dashboard. The infotainment display sits toward the centre and appears noticeably larger than before. Based on the revealed interface, the system supports smartphone connectivity and shows Android Auto integration.
The display itself appears to be positioned in a way that improves visibility and accessibility while driving. Next to it sits an independent digital instrument cluster. Unlike the outgoing Tiago’s simpler setup, the new unit delivers a cleaner and more modern presentation of information. Depending on the powertrain, this display is expected to show speed, efficiency details, vehicle information and other driving data. This new screen arrangement instantly makes the cabin look more premium and closer to larger Tata models.
Another noticeable change is the dashboard design itself. The new Tiago moves away from the older heavy plastic appearance and introduces a more refined visual theme. The dashboard now gets a dual-tone finish combining grey and black shades, helping improve the premium feel.

A fabric-like texture across the upper section adds more character and softens the overall appearance. The design philosophy seems focused on reducing visual clutter. Controls are neatly integrated and the dashboard layout appears more sophisticated than before. Even though the cabin remains practical, it now feels significantly more modern.
Despite adding more screens and digital elements, Tata has retained physical controls for important functions. The climate control panel continues to use rotary-style controls placed below the infotainment screen. This decision should improve ease of use while driving and avoids overloading the touchscreen with basic functions. The panel itself appears cleaner and more integrated into the dashboard compared to the previous model.
One of the most interesting updates appears in the centre console area. The redesigned console now looks more open and practical. Images reveal space designed to hold multiple smartphones simultaneously. One of these sections appears to support wireless smartphone charging, bringing a convenience feature that buyers increasingly expect in modern vehicles. Cup holders and storage spaces also appear to have been reorganised for better usability. This area now looks cleaner and more premium than the outgoing version.
The rear cabin has also received meaningful upgrades. The seats now appear finished in a dual-tone light and dark grey theme, creating a more premium ambience. One notable addition is the rear centre armrest, a feature not available in the outgoing Tiago. This small change can significantly improve comfort for rear passengers during longer journeys. The rear section also appears to receive charging support, improving practicality for passengers.

Along with the visible changes, the facelifted Tiago is expected to introduce additional convenience features. One interesting addition visible in the images is the inclusion of paddle shifters on automatic variants, potentially making the driving experience slightly more engaging. Combined with the redesigned centre console and upgraded digital interfaces, the new Tiago appears focused on offering a more premium ownership experience.
The 2026 Tata Tiago Facelift is scheduled to launch on May 28, and based on the interior reveal, Tata seems to be targeting buyers who want modern technology without moving to larger and more expensive vehicles. The update appears substantial enough to refresh both the petrol and electric versions of the hatchback.
If Tata manages to keep pricing competitive while offering these cabin upgrades, the new Tiago could strengthen its position in the entry-level hatchback segment. From the redesigned dashboard to the dual-screen setup and upgraded practicality features, the new Tiago looks far more premium than before and may end up becoming one of the most feature-rich hatchbacks in its category.
