Notably, the carmaker will also launch its premium flagship SUV, the Honda ZR-V, on the very same day.

However, just four days ahead of the formal announcement, production-ready dealership test mules have been spotted completely naked. The leaked spy shots give us an absolute clear look at the visual changes and high-end feature upgrades.

1. Exterior Design: Sharper, Darker, and Highly Aggressive

Compared to the 2023 facelift, the 2026 iteration brings an entirely overhauled aesthetic character. The updated front profile heavily borrows styling cues from Honda’s premium international line-up, including the global Accord and the Prologue EV.

• The Front Face: The most radical change is the implementation of a full-width Connected LED DRL light bar that spans across the nose, connecting the signature jewel-eye LED headlamps. Honda has ditched the thick chrome wing grille entirely in favor of a blacked-out honeycomb mesh layout. The “H” badge has also been repositioned from the grille to the edge of the hood.
• Side Silhouette: While the sleek premium lines remain unchanged, the car gets a dramatic stance update courtesy of brand-new 16-inch multi-spoke glossy black alloy wheels, mimicking a highly sporty aesthetic.

While the global premium look dominates the exterior, Honda has directly addressed user feedback inside the cabin by equipping the 2026 Honda City with highly requested luxury convenience features:

• 360-Degree Surround View: A visible camera module embedded right into the front grille confirms that the 2026 City Facelift will finally feature a 360-degree parking assistant to help drivers navigate tight urban spaces effortlessly.
