TVS FY26 Sales Hit All-Time High, iQube EV & Jupiter Lead Growth

TVS Records Highest-Ever Sales of 59 Lakh Units in FY26, EV Growth Accelerates

TVS Motor Company has achieved its highest-ever annual sales performance in FY26, crossing the massive milestone of 58.89 lakh units globally. The Chennai-based manufacturer registered strong growth across motorcycles, scooters, electric vehicles, exports, and three-wheelers, highlighting its rapidly expanding presence in both domestic and international markets.

The company reported total sales growth of 24 per cent in FY26 compared to the previous financial year. TVS sold 58.89 lakh units during FY26 against 47.44 lakh units in FY25, making it the strongest sales year in the company’s history.

A major contributor to this growth was the strong performance of TVS scooters and premium motorcycles. Models like the TVS Jupiter, Ntorq, Apache RTR series, Raider 125, and Ronin continued witnessing healthy demand across urban and rural markets. The company also benefited from rising premium motorcycle sales and increasing export momentum.

TVS recorded significant gains in the electric vehicle segment as well. EV sales crossed 3.71 lakh units in FY26, marking strong year-on-year growth over FY25 volumes. The iQube electric scooter remained one of India’s fastest-growing EV products and helped the brand strengthen its position in the country’s rapidly expanding electric two-wheeler market.

The company’s overall two-wheeler sales increased to 56.70 lakh units in FY26, up from 46.09 lakh units in FY25. Meanwhile, three-wheeler sales witnessed even stronger growth, rising by 63 per cent to 2.19 lakh units.

International business also played a major role in TVS Motor’s record-breaking year. Total exports grew by 33 per cent during FY26, increasing from 11.95 lakh units to 15.85 lakh units. The company has been aggressively expanding its global footprint across Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and other emerging markets.

TVS also posted record quarterly performance during the final quarter of FY26. The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly sales of around 15.6 lakh units in Q4 FY26, supported by strong demand for scooters, motorcycles, EVs, and exports.

Scooter sales alone grew by 32 per cent during the quarter, while motorcycle sales increased by 23 per cent. EV sales surged by more than 50 per cent during Q4 FY26, highlighting how rapidly electric mobility adoption is accelerating in India.

The strong sales performance also translated into record financial results for TVS Motor Company. Revenue from operations rose sharply during FY26, while EBITDA margins improved because of higher volumes, better product mix, and growing premiumisation.

TVS Motor’s management has already confirmed plans for significant future capacity expansion following the record sales year. The company is preparing to add around 1.5 million units of additional production capacity over the next 12 months to support future growth.

The expansion plans indicate tvs expects strong momentum to continue across:

  • Premium motorcycles
  • Scooters
  • Electric vehicles
  • Exports
  • Three-wheelers

It has increasingly focused on premium and technology-driven products in recent years. Motorcycles like the Apache RR 310, RTR 310, Ronin, and Raider have helped the company attract younger buyers, while the iQube has become a critical product in the electric mobility space.

  • SmartXonnect features

These technologies have helped the company compete more aggressively against rivals like Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, Honda, Royal Enfield, and Ola Electric.
